Mount Holly Writing Intensive

An intensive workshop for advancing scholarly or creative work or exploring the space between.

Where do you come from as a writer? And where do you want to go? Join writer, scholar, and UBC School of Creative Writing professor Bronwen Tate to reflect on your writing journey and make real progress on your current project. This intensive session balances dedicated writing time with collaborative workshops on identifying long-term and short-term writing goals, breaking a large project into manageable pieces, identifying and addressing your target audience, making your work visible, and avoiding burnout by cultivating pleasure in writing. This workshop is open to women and nonbinary writers working across disciplines and is especially suited to writers who are interested in exploring new audiences, genres, and possibilities for their writing.
